We all deal with pain in our lives at some point, whether it is from an acute injury or a chronic condition. It is important to effectively treat the pain so we can live our lives to our fullest potential. There is nothing more debilitating than not being able to enjoy doing the things we love. There are many ways to treat pain and we can help you make the best decisions for you to get you back on your feet, literally.
At Lumos Medical Center, we take a comprehensive, individualized, and multi-faceted approach to pain. The most important piece is finding out the source of the pain, especially chronic pain. We may run diagnostic labs or imaging, while also having speciality labs that may be able to find sources of inflammation. We not only will treat the pain directly, but also treat the underlying cause of the pain.
We know there are many other pain specialists available. The choices can be overwhelming and you may not know what would work and what wouldn’t. We often refer to other practitioners that we think will help you specifically. This may include physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, personal trainers, orthopedic doctors, and other sources.
