Dr. Ren is a naturopathic physician and licensed acupuncturist in Bend, Oregon. He is a primary care physician that commonly treats gastroenterology, autoimmune conditions, thyroid, diabetes, mental/emotional concerns, and pediatrics. He focuses on empowering every patient to reach their health goals in a supportive and safe way. Medical care may include clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, physical adjustments, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, and acupuncture.
Dr. Ren grew up in Spirit Lake, Iowa with an upbringing based on compassion, caring for others and a family motto of Peace and Love. After completing his BSc in Zoology at the University of Otago in New Zealand, he decided to focus on supporting people’s health and happiness. He studied at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture before moving to Bend.
Dr. Ren has a desire to support those in need and has done medical missions all over the world, including Haiti, Philippines, Thailand, and Mexico. He has also volunteered at PACH, which gives free medical care in Phoenix, AZ. In his free time he enjoys traveling, qi gong, spoiling his dog and two tortoises, reading, and playing guitar.
Dr. Christy is a licensed naturopathic physician and acupuncturist who practices general family medicine with special interests in gastroenterology, mental illness, fertility, and chronic conditions. Patients receive individualized medical care that may include acupuncture, homeopathy, botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, hydrotherapy, physical medicine, CranioSacral and Mayan Uterine Massage.
Dr. Christy is originally from San Antonio, Texas where she earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas in San Antonio. She attended two graduate programs simultaneously, earning a Masters of Science in Acupuncture at Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, and a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Upon graduating from her naturopathic program, she received the prestigious Daphne Blayden Award for her commitment to naturopathic medicine, academic excellence, compassion, perseverance, a loving sense of humor, and a positive, supportive outlook. She also has additional training in CranioSacral from the Upledger Institute.
Dr. Christy has a passion for community medicine and has volunteered on multiple medical missions around the world, including Mexico, Thailand and the Philippines. She now lives and practices here in Bend Oregon. In her free time she enjoys traveling, supporting the San Antonio Spurs, playing the ukulele, and pampering her dog and two tortoises.
